My name's Kolby! I'm a 26 year-old cinematic, documentary photographer living on the beautiful central coast of California.

Since I was a young child, I have greatly enjoyed reading & art. I have always felt very connected to my creative & imaginative side, loving to spend my days making up stories or sitting at the craft table my grandmother would lay out for me. As I've grown, I've found great joy in things like writing poetry, crocheting, knitting, sewing, embroidery, journaling, & telling stories within my photography work. I was gifted my first camera at the age of 15 from my grandfather & instantly fell in love with the art form, a mutual passion that him & I get to share that warms my heart everyday.

What started out as just clicking a button & capturing a moment, quickly became a way for me to tell people's stories in an artistic way to portray their emotions on a much deeper scale. Creating pictures that make you want to scrapbook & look back on & feel all the feels because time passes so quickly. I think it's really important to have photos that bring you nostalgic joy, to hold those moments still for just one second longer. Capturing those stories is so fun for me & I just can't wait to capture yours!
